Do you want to express yourself but aren’t sure how?
Sit down to write but feel stuck?
Feel there’s something inside you wanting to come out, but you freeze staring at a blank page?
This workshop can help with that!
Let’s come together to express ourselves through writing.
Let’s connect deeply with ourselves and share our hearts on a page. Let our thoughts and feelings take form in words.
During the workshop, we will be:
– Connecting deeply with ourselves
– Writing freely
– Removing barriers to creative expression
– Drawing on our life experiences
– Discovering our unique writing voice
While technical skills like structure, paragraphing, grammar, and vocabulary are important and will be covered where necessary, this workshop will focus on the self-expression and storytelling aspects of writing.
As such, we will also explore:
– The Hero’s Journey
– Story structure
– What makes a good story
You do not need any writing background. If you can form basic sentences in English, you can write.
This is about you and your authentic style of writing. Your expression, and your voice, your story. We explore your unique way of communicating with yourself and the world.
Imagine yourself being creative and inspired. When you sit down to write, the words just flow magically from you. Ideas flow through you, rather than from you. You are a channel for the universe’s ideas and inspiration to take form in the world.
I believe that you can have that.
Play and have fun with words!
Breathe life into words.
Create gifts for yourself and others.
Your words can create magic.
